Background
The Journey
Amit decided to seek help after months of struggling in silence. Nalanda Centre’s trauma recovery program provided him with the support he desperately needed. Through Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and grief counseling, Amit learned to process his emotions in a safe, non-judgmental environment. He also participated in guided mindfulness sessions that helped him gain emotional clarity and reduce the intensity of his grief.
Outcome
As Amit worked through his trauma, he began to make peace with his loss. He learned to express his emotions healthily and forgive himself for feelings of guilt that had kept him trapped in the past. Slowly, Amit regained his confidence and began to reintegrate into social and professional life. While the pain of loss will always remain, he now has the strength to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose. Amit is deeply grateful to Nalanda Centre for equipping him with the resilience to overcome trauma and reclaim his life.
